"Zipper Face"Layout by DT Becky

Today's featured layout is and this amazing Halloween themed layout,
created by SOS Designer Becky
inspired by our
October Sketch Challenge:
"Given that it's October, I decided to create a Halloween themed layout using my costume from last year. I usually spend weeks planning my costumes, but last year I waited until the last minute. After watching some youtube makeup tutorials for zipper faces, I made this and it turned out better than I expected. My mother-in-law says she can't even look at this photo, because it's too gruesome. For my metal component, I used red safety pins attached via brads to create a banner. I appreciate that they actually move and sway when you move the layout. Happy Halloween and happy crafting!"

"I Can Do the Monkey Bars" Layout by DT Crystal

Happy Saturday!
Today's adorable inspiration is the creative work of SOS Designer, Crystal,
inspired by our
October Sketch Challenge
"Journaling: I think you could do the monkey bars but wouldn't with out a little bribe of going to the store for gum.
For my Metal item on my layout I used 2 Brads to attach the Happiest Day Ever paper and I used a paper clip."

And here is the sketch by Christine Meyer that inspired Crystal's layout.
Just remember when creating your page, you must add something from your stash that is metal.

layouts inspired by the ScraptoberFest event we are co-hosting
with 3 other awesome challenge sites:

Click HERE for details and rules!

And now for some inspiration to get your mojo started for the weekend!
First up is our
October Guest Designer
Katrina Hunt

"Blue Happened"
"I pretty much used the sketch the way it was by putting it behind the photo. Of course, being me I added lots of layers! The color palette of the Flutter collection by Fancy Pants fit the color challenge perfectly. I ended up using three washi tapes, instead of two, because once I dug them out, I kept finding more!"

Next we are featuring this lovely layout created by
SOS Designer Caroleanne

"Crazy Happy"
"Hi everyone, Carole here with you today with our OCTOBERFEST challenge. We have teamed up with three other challenge blogs and have combined four challenges into one, which has been great fun. So first of all , the Scrap Our Stash - challege is to include two different washi tapes seen in the bottom right hand corner. Challenge YOUrself - Create a layout that includes YOU in the photo. These are photos of me, which I rarely scrap as its usually me behind the camera.
I used the My Scraps & More - Color Challenge using five different colors, and The Memory Nest - Sketch Challenge.
I hope you like what I have come up with. Full instructions and stash used are on my blog.
Bye for now"

Next we have this awesome page created by

"Always Croppin"
"What a fun challenge!! Here's my layout. I rotated the sketch (The Memory Nest), use Pebbles collection that match perfectly to the color combo challenge(My Scraps & More), scrapped a photo of my scrapping (Challenge YOUrself) and use 3 different washi tape (Scrap Our Stash)."

And finally the page I created inspired by all four challenges:

"I Am..."
"I loved this joint challenge because the ChallengeYOUrself challenge forced me to scrap a photo of myself, which I hardly ever do.   For the SOS Washi Tape Challenge, I adhered two different washi tapes to white cardstock and used my punches to create 2 tabs and 3 butterflies.  Because The Memory Nest's sketch did not require a lot of paper, I was able to use scraps and left over embellishments from the June 2015 DS  Kit from the ScrapRoom, which satisfied My Scraps & More's color combo challenge."

If you haven't played along, you still have time to create a layout
and link it up with us for a chance to win 4 awesome prizes from one of our sponsors:
and a BONUS prize generously donated by the (4) challenge sites for those participants who create a layout and combine all (4) challenges.

We look forward to seeing all of your beautiful layouts and the creative
ways you combine these challenges.

And if you  have already played along and like this type of challenge,
Rochelle and I along with our
Scrappy Friend, Kelly Holifield
host a joint challenge every month with a chance to win
3 prizes and a BONUS prize on our personal blogs.

As always, we appreciate you stopping by and feel free to leave us
a comment!

"Punk'd" Layout by Rochelle

Happy Friday everyone!
Today's featured layout is the awesome creation of Rochelle,
inspired by our
"So I am not sure that these papers work well for what the layout is about but it worked for the colors in the photo and I used my old stash... which is always great , right? :)
This layout is why we scrapbook.... to preserve memories!! My daughter was given the opportunity to be on national TV on the show PUNK'D. Although not really an actress, she did play the part of a little girl punking Chris Brown! How cool is that?
So I took a photo of the TV and HAD TO SCRAP IT!!
In regards to the challenge, I used a metal camera paper clip for my stash item."

The sketch by Christine Meyer that inspired Rochelle's layout and don't forget if you are taking this challenge...you must add METAL!!!!!

"I Am" Layout by DT Cassie

Good morning and welcome to another day of design team inspiration.
Today's amazing feature is the creative work of CDT Cassie, inspired by our
October Sketch Challenge:
For this challenge we had a use the sketch and add metal to the layout. I moved all of the elements of the sketch lower on the page, so that the pictures are on the bottom of the page. I also changed up the sketch to use five photos instead of three because I couldn’t decide which pictures of my daughter to use on the page. This cute little metal geo-tag was the perfect color compliment to my page and I added a cute enamel dot to the middle to finish it off.

Here is the sketch that inspired Cassie's layout
And...don't forget, you must add something metal from your stash:

And remember, our October sponsor,
is generously awarding the following prize to our random drawn winner this month:

We would love to see how you interpret this sketch and what metal items you find in your stash.  You have until October 29th to link up your entries!

"Life Is Good" Layout by DT Patricia

It's a wonderful  Wednesday and time for some wonderful design team inspiration!
DT Patricia is up today sharing her beautiful interpretation of our
October Sketch Challenge:

"What an awesome sketch this month! Along with the sketch we were to use some form of metal on the layout. My choice was to use paperclips, which it seems I have began to collect an ample amount of lately!

I was also able to FINALLY use this ribbon that has been in my stash for years! I love it when I get to use stuff that has been sitting, which is why I love being apart of the team! Using my stash!

Can't wait to see what you come up with! Keep coming back for more inspiration!"

Here's the sketch that inspired Patricia's layout...

Good morning!
Today's gorgeous October Sketch Challenge inspiration was created by DT Rachelle:
"Hi there! Rachelle here sharing my DT Sketch take.
I enjoyed creating this fall page with those awesome fall colors I thought the picture were perfect for this sketch. I added lots of metal elements, stick pin, brads, and charms. It was fun distressing, inking, and adding those fall leaves Little Olivia played all day in the park having fun. The framed picture is her walking away from the park; goodbye! I hope you have been inspired to create your layout for this awesome challenge. See Ya Soon!"

Got metal in your stash?

"An Ordinary/Awesome Day" Layout by DT Sherri

We are starting off this week with a fabulous layout created by our talented DT Sherri
 inspired by our
"This layout is a little different from most of my layouts. The sketch seemed to have a lot of blank space, and I tried hard not to fill it up too much, yet still make it my own. I used a new technique (for me) with some Distress Stains and a baby wipe, and added some metal charms from broken bits of jewelry that I save for the "metal" challenge requirement. I've had this title for a while, and decided it would be perfect to document and Ordinary Day, that turned into and AWESOME One, with a Surprise Birthday present from a friend, and an Iced Coffee from Starbucks! I hope you will play along with us at the Scrap Our Stash Blog!"

Here is a look at the sketch created by Christine Meyer, that inspired Sherri's layout,
just remember...
you must add something medal from your stash:

All entries must be linked up by October 29th, 11:59 PM (PST)

"Who Are You?" Layout by DT Tanti

Today's  October Sketch Challenge inspiration is the super cute creation of our
designer, Tanti K:
"For this wonderful sketch I used a photo of this cat. Which was not my cat. It belongs to our neighbor. It came everyday to visit us and spent the whole day in our garden. We didn't even know his name but he was so cuddly. So, I had to document it.
I just followed the main design of the sketch.
To complete the challenge I added a metal fish paper clip on my layout."

Here is a look at the
October Sketch...
And... remember the stash requirement this month is to dig in your stash and find
something metal to use on your layout!

More ScraptoberFest Design Team Reveals!!!

Happy Friday!

Today we have more amazing layouts to share with you created by our Design Team,
inspired by the
ScraptoberFest Challenges!!!

Here are the (4) challenges hosted by (4) fabulous challenge sites:

And now for the fabulous layouts our team members created combining all (4) challenges!
I am sure you will find some inspiration to get your creative juices flowing.

DT Crystal
"Running Buddy"
"I had so much fun combining these four challenges for the Scraptober Fest Challenge! I don't scrapbook pictures of me to often or even get into to many pictures but I'm trying. My daughter wanted to run a 5k with me last summer so I told her she would need to train (haha) she ran with me maybe three times I enjoyed each time it was fun motivating her. She did the 5k and loved it and even ran another on after that.
I didn't change much from Leslie's sketch which was a lot of fun to work with. I had tons of fun with the colors they worked really well with my photos and of course I loved having to us washi tape I love it not sure if I use it enough but I sure like to collect it:)"

DT Elena
"My New Car"
"The purchase of a new car is a special event to document, especially if the car is so amazing!
After 10 years of loyal service and more than 200000 kilometers, I traded in my old Honda Jazz to make way for a wonderful new Suzuki Vitara,
that I love driving!!!"

DT Patricia
"Bonus fun challenge!! Yay!!!
This is a layout of a really great friend of mine and myself. We craft together, work out together and so many other activities. We both belong to a exercise group that has helped us in a major way to become more active on the pavement!
Love the color combo for this challenge! Don't you!? Can't wait to see what you produce!"

DT Sharon
