"Unhappy Halloween 2015" LO by DT Kate

Today's daily inspiration is this wonderful layout from our Designer Kate:
Here's what Kate said about her layout:
"Sick kid on Halloween makes for one unhappy camper but I took what pictures I could and kept it moving! I'm just glad thgat he let me put some pirate facial hair on him this year! For my supplies, I used the tic-tac-toe line of: brad/doily/circles/sequins/burlap. I had some beige doily stickers from the $1 bin at Michaels and I added some black acrylic paint to them! And my burlap is in the bottom left corner; again $ 1 bin at Michaels! They had a black & beige striped burlap that I LOVE and had to buy!"

If you haven't uploaded your layout yet, hurry! You have a few more days!

"My Accident Prone Girl" LO by DT Cassie

Hello!

Today, we have a fabulous layout from DT Cassie to inspire you:
Cassie shares this about her layout:

"When I first saw this sketch I was drawn to all the various strips of paper weaved behind the photo. I have been trying to use more scraps lately so this layout was perfect to dig through some scraps to find some to use. I also changed the picture size to work with my 4x6 photo. This change also meant that I cut all my strips wider than the sketch and also over lapped the patterned paper pieces more. After adding a few clusters of sequins I realized that I had the start of a circle, so I ended up with a large rough circle of sequins around my photo, which I just love.

For the bingo part of the challenge I ended up going with the second row on the board which includes: Brad, Doily, Circles, Sequins & Burlap. Those items seem to account for the majority of my embellishments, which really worked for me on this page."

"Beautiful" LO by DT Rachelle

Hello Friday!! :)

Today, Designer Rachelle is sharing her fabulous layout to inspire you:
Here's what Rachelle said about her layout:
"Hi there scrappers. Rachelle here today sharing my sketch challenge inspiration. This was such a fun design because i used techniques that I like using and fave colors. The sketch was perfect! I distressed the paper edges, inked the torn edges, and applied mixed media texture to the background. Next, I applied a cursive write and crinkled paper stamps. The vintage blended in well the embellishments of floral, metal, and paper

The bingo line used:
~Ribbon
~Sequins
~Journal Card
~Numbers
I hoped you have been inspired to create your layout and enter your layout. Hope to see yours soon."

"Get Away" LO by DT Sherri

Hello Crafters!

Before we share with you the inspiration of the day layout, we just want to remind you that
tomorrow is the last day to submit your application to join our Design Team.
For more information, click HERE.

Now onto today's inspiration….
Here is Designer Sherri's lovely layout:
Here's what Sherri said about her layout:
"For the Bingo Challenge, I selected the "G" Column for my layout - Wood, Sequins, Leaves, Kraft, and Flair ( I LOVE FLAIR!) I decided to flip the Sketch one turn towards the right, or clockwise. I'm not really sure why.... I just thought it would work better for the layout I had planned. We were blessed to have had the chance to spend a week in Paradise - aka - Beaches - Turks and Caicos Resort, with my husbands' brothers and sister-in-laws in October. It was a well needed and true "Get Away" from it all - filled with sunshine, food, laughter and lots of frozen mojitos!
I wanted to use up some of the DELICIOUS Simple Stories "Summer Vibes" Collection, that has been calling to me ever since I bought it at my Local Scrapbook Store.

I hope this inspires you to play along with us at SOS on this AWESOME Sketch and Challenge!!

"Cozy Up With A Warm Friend" LO by DT Steffanie

Happy Monday!

Today we are starting off the week with this loving layout from DT Steffanie inspired by the November sketch:
This is what Steffanie said about her layout:

Hi! Thank you, Lynn, for the sketch this month! I initially found it challenging in that it's a departure from my usual style. But after a little thought and planning (and finding a collection with lots of nice prints to go with my photo), I think it came together pretty nicely.

For the stash challenge, we needed to choose a row from this bingo card and use all the items in that row. I chose the second vertical row from the left---paper clip, doily, glitter (I used glitter brads), journal card and metal (I used staples).
Now it's your turn! Have fun!
